The Minarets seen from the Minaret Vista
Minaret Vista, located in Eastern Sierra in Inyo National Forest at an elevation of 9,265 feet above the sea level, provides fantastic views of the Ritter Range and its iconic series of jagged peaks called the Minarets, with the Clyde Minaret being the highest peak there reaching an elevation of almost 12,300 feet. The California Geographical Survey gave this name in 1868. It was nice to see those genuinely unique rock formations filled with the warm morning light; however, it was extremely windy and cold. Please note that this is a cropped photo.
