Sunrise in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park
The Great Smoky Mountain National Park is considered one of the most picturesque landscapes in the United States, offering beautiful views of the mountains, streams, waterfalls, and valleys. It is especially gorgeous during the fall season when the landscape is filled with exquisite colors. Driving up and down the Newfound Gap road, we decided to stop at the Luftee Overlook, hoping that clouds will get a little bit of color during the sunrise. It didn't happen, but we were very thrilled when we saw golden sunbeams streaming through a cloud layer and illuminating the hills with beautiful morning light.
