Sierra reflections

Landscape Photography

After leaving Yosemite National Park, we spent a night along Tioga Road, somewhere between Tuolumne Meadows and the Mono Pass Trailhead. Determined to be ready well before sunrise, we drove up and down Tioga Road, scouting for the perfect location to capture the eastern Sierra in its morning splendor. With clear skies and no clouds in sight, we had ample time for exploration. Eventually, we discovered a beautiful meadow adorned with seasonal bodies of water, reflecting the majestic Sierra Mountains. The stillness of the morning provided a perfect opportunity to photograph the mountain reflections. We believe the peak in the photo might be Mt. Gibbs. If you recognize it, feel free to leave us a comment!
