Longs Peak reflection in Bear Lake – RMNP
Bear Lake is located at 9,449 feet of elevation, and it is the most visited and photographed lake in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The lake is surrounded by a forest with lovely views of Hallett Peak and Flattop Mountain in the west and Longs Peak in the south. We took this photo on the north side of the lake, which we believe is the best place to photograph Longs Peak, illuminated by the warm evening sun and a beautiful reflection of this tallest mountain in RMNP. The Bear Lake is easily accessible by car, with a short walking distance from the parking lot.
