Boot Arch - Alabama Hills
The Boot Arch is an iconic natural arch located in the Alabama Hills, California. There are many ways to photograph it, and probably the best way is to do it from a distance, including great peaks of the Sierra Nevada Mountain range in the background, especially, in the morning, during the sunrise when the first warm light hits the summits. However, during our first visit to the Alabama Hills, we didn’t have a chance to get there early enough. So we tried to make it more appealing by making the arch appear much larger relative to the mountains and isolating it from the surrounding rock formations to emphasize its beauty and majesty.
