Autumn Sunrise Over East Dallas Creek Valley, Uncompahgre National Forest

From East Dallas Road at sunrise, you can see a wide valley in Uncompahgre National Forest, with the rugged Sneffels Range in the background. The forest shifts from montane to subalpine, with large aspen groves that turn bright yellow in early fall, mixed with darker conifers that add depth.
