California - 17-Mile Drive

Along the Monterey Peninsula, you can explore the 17-Mile Drive which is considered one of the most famous routes in Northern California. There are numerous stops providing endless opportunities for landscape photography. Don't miss the Lone Cypress Tree, straddling the peninsula. One of the most photographed trees in North America, it has been holding its own against the forces of the Pacific winds for more than 250 years. Make sure to also visit the giant trees at Crocker Grove, Fanshell Beach with its iconic views of the Pacific Ocean, or Restless Sea at Point Joe with its incredible rock formations.
