Julia Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park
Landscape Photography
The 3,762-acre park was established in 1962 and named after Julia Pfeiffer Burns, pioneer woman, daughter of the first permanent settlers of European origin in Big Sur. The park is home to magnificent redwoods, tan oaks, creeks, and an 80-foot waterfall that drops from cliffs into the ocean.
